Just wanted to say thanks to all of you who contributed to the care package and/or signed my birthday card!  It was so sweet of you all to think of me.  I miss you all at Einstein and hope you're all keeping warm and in good spirits.  I'm doing well over here in California as usual.  Take care!

Guatemala Mission Trip

Hey everyone,

 

For those who couldn’t make it to the talk, Dr. Hawkins presented an awesome talk about her missions trip experience in Uganda. Speaking of medical missions, she would like to take a team of medical students with her to Guatemala on a medical missions trip (April 17-23 during our spring break but I have to double check with her). Lodging and food will be taken care of by a church there so the only cost we would have to figure out is the plane ticket there. The trip will involve providing clinical services in the daytime and doing church, missions-related stuff in the evenings. It is still in the process of being planned but if any of you have a desire in learning more about it, prayerfully supporting the team, or even being part of the team, please email me back (ywong@aecom.yu.edu) and let me know. We will be having meetings to discuss the upcoming trip for those of you that are interested so I’ll keep you posted. Please prayerfully consider what role God would want you to play and if you guys have any questions/concerns, feel free to let me know =). Blessings!

Thanksgiving Potluck!

Hey everyone

Thanksgiving is coming up, and that means a big ol' ECF potluck! It's slated for 7pm on TUESDAY, 11/22. That's the day after the 1st and 2nd years finish exams - one huge reason to be thankful! As usual, it'll be held at the lovely 1925 28F penthouse

Please RSVP to me (dleong@) if you'll be coming, and let me know what you can bring (but it's ok if you can't bring anything!). I'm already getting hungry at the thought of all the yummy food! As for the not-so-culinary-inclined, we can always use drinks, cups, plates, etc... Hope you all can make it, and invite your friends to join us as we thank God for his many provisions
